British WW2 2pdr anti-tank gun projectiles

Pictured are two 40mm AP projectiles for the British tank and anti-tank gun. I think they are genuine projectiles, stamped Practise 2pdr Mk9 and for MK 9 and 10 Guns but after that I am not sure. The paint scheme is dodgy, I would have thought the red ring would have been at the top, they do have a tracer pocket. The yellow ring is much too thin and there is a groove in the projectile to diliniate the bands. I also suspect the driving bands have been turned down from a fired example. Glad to have your opinions, started life as the real thing but then some work has been done in my opinion.

bands definitely wrong, look turned down to remove rifling marks, paint looks wrong red wrong place, yellow too narrow and wrong place. The groove where the red bands are is curious, could be due to turning the bands. I'd strip the paint, get them rebanded and re-painted.

Certainly look like 2pr originally.
Agree they look to be turned down as there is not enough there to engage the rifling.
Also appear to have had a few extra grooves machined in. Paint scheme is another of those 'looks pretty' type i think.

I have some similar with home made copper strip DB, as the original DB had been removed. Mine are 'stuffers' for 40mm Bofors.
