C.O.W. gun colors of projectiles

Hi, men.
This season i dug up some bullets for cow gun, made in 1934 - AP solid shots and HE-T with big transport plug (it fitted inside til tracer part) - probably it is target practice
i want to restore and repaint it and need infor about coloring.

If it's a round nosed practice, which is the most likely then black with a yelow band.
