[FONT=Calibri, sans-serif]Any ideas what this might be used on e.g.. for going over the top of 4 projectiles ?[/FONT]

Its 25.5 cm square across the top and is stamped on the top -

MI within a sidewards letter D

The brass plate is attached to the wood by 8 brass screws.

Middle hole is 3.5 cm wide.

Larger holes are 7.5 cm wide.
