Can anyone help identify this projectile?

This projectile was recently located. It looks to be circa 1900 by the shape, no distinguishing marks, however the overall shape is common HE, 75mm in dia, 215mm long (including the adapter) and has a 1" GS thread in the fuze well. The cannelure so far to the rear of the projecile leads me to an early howitzer type and the course rifling shown in the engraved driving band also leads me to it being shorter range than later 75mm (or 3" projectiles). Appreciate any assistance in identifying this round.

There is some marking on the base that you haven't shown. I see the S. UK projectiles had FS for forged steel or CS for cast steel on the base. Is it either of these? If so, high probability that it is UK origin.
