Looking for info on this cannonball . It’s around 8ins diameter and weighs 42lb empty. Also info on it’s fuse

What is the diameter of the shell?
What country has it been found in?
Can you post a photo of the shell, exactly opposite the fuse hole - looking for a shallow hole there for the wood bottom land service rivet, or for two smaller offset holes for sea service wood bottom rivets - etc.

it says in the description it is around 8inches diameter and the empty weight is 42 lb it is in the UK
 
Yes, however that only narrowed it to three possibilities. To ID it would have required more accurate measurement and the base examined.

I will do more checks and pics when I change the water as it’s in soak to remove the sea salt from the iron
