Hi

Gordon thought this might be of interest. It is a German WW1 77-mm field gun that was captured and taken into British service, probably for a defensively armed merchant ship or in a minor coast defence capacity. It is in the Canadian War Museum in Ottawa.

Enjoy

Doug

This was a Bavarian Gun by the crest on it. If I recall it has a GV crest or insignia on it also.
