Hi, A friend gave me a cardboard tube the other day, i think its for a 40mm bofers round but would be nice to have it confirmed, and any ideas what the letters mean would be a great help.
Regards
Andy

There was a batch of these that came back into the UK in the early 90's. I bought (& still have) a box and some of these tubes. They originated from Portugal, when they released a batch of old WW2 era British stuff. Amongst this I believe were a number of 3.7" guns. You occasionally see these - you can often tell because they have Portuguese tyres!!
