Hi Mick,

This is a cartridge to do with ejector seats, made by the Martin Baker company. There were all sorts of shapes and sizes, for different 'planes, and different functions within the ejection process (such as Canopy Jettison, - which this case might be for; initial seat ejection; seat booster, and so on).
