Hi pat,

If VE is the manufacturor code, I have "Cartoucherie de Valence, France"

Is the bullet lead or Jacketed?

If lead it looks like the Lyman 356402 bullet. I used to load hundreds of them. If it is jacketed I hav eno idea!

I do not know if it is lined, it must be that I dessertisse the case ?
the nose seems to be all steel

The profile of the bullet is also very similar to some of the armor piercing designs from the 1950s-60s - most similar to some of the US "metal piercing" designs. I know that several of the French companies did work on armor piercing 9mm, while the French were normally of a different design could this be one of them?

I`m with US - 9mm AP or SAP? Possibly for penetrating body armour as opposed to vehicle skins?
Not sure about the bullet & case match with regards to year/age.

Not with that French military headstamp it is not.

It is a 9x19, but the debate is what type of projectile is fitted, original or reload?

Regards
TonyE
