Here's the second trench art find from France this weekend.
Mills No 5 Centrecast body with 1916 lever and fitted to a black painted brass base. Under the base is a mahogany plug with a screw possibly drilled into the baseplug.
I've been after a decent inkwell for ages. Nearly got one at War and Peace, but it was a little pricey for the condition. This one was however, a mere 30 euros!
