Coiled snake trench art

Picked up this interesting piece a week or so ago. I do not normally go for trench art, but this was so unusual
I could not pass it up. The coiled snake is an old rotating band. The case is a German 37mm and is hand engraved
"Krakow 22.9.41". Bob
