Hi can anyone please tell me what colour/colours a WW2 Soviet 7.62mm APCBC round was ,any help ,pics welcome ,regards Dave

What is APCBC ?

Armour Piercing Capped Ballistic Cap usually found on larger calibre AP rounds to "stream line" the projectile giving a flatter trajectory to the target.

Hi.
I never seen 7,62 mm AP round with Capped Ballistic Cap.
Russian 7,62 mm AP rounds in 1930 was marked with black nose.

Evening all ,first an apology ,my mind said 7.62 cm but my fingers typed 7.62 mm .So i was sold this round as a Soviet 7.62 cm x 385r M1936 APCBC round with a BR/350 Projectile used in the T-34 ,Now not knowing much about Soviet ordance ,so is this right or what have i got ,no worries if its wrong Regards Dave PS when tapping the cap defo sounds hollow and tinny
