I have an obscure Kirkee publication that refers the Container No 28 as being used for Charge 2 for the Cartridge, BL, 5.5 - inch for the 80lb Shell. Maybe AE501 could give an opinion.

Although I am reasonably familiar with Boxes Ammunition, CWPs, Packages Ammunition, ACAs, ULCs; the use of the nomenclature 'Containers' and 'Cylinders' confuses me no end.
