copper model warship

Purchasing this 9ft long RN commissioned model of HMS Manchester.
These models were used for measuring radar echo signature, when building a warship. One for each class of ship.
Some of these were sold by auction about six months ago,and a dealer in my neck of the woods got four of them.
two have gone to USA,I was in time to get the best one of the two left.
They don't make them anymore, now computer technology has moved on.
Any way I'm chuffed to get this one at great expense, and thought I would show it.
Cheers Tim.

Thats a beautiful model you have there. What were the other warships he had?

It must have taken quite some time to make that, good result in getting it.

regards Kev

Hi Kevin,
He had sold an aircraft carrier and a ship he could not remember.
He has a frigate left, but it is not such a nice model.I did not pay too much attention to that one.
Thanks for your comments.
