Copper tape idea

I have just bought some copper anti slug tape which im using for a non slug or ordnance related project.
I thought it could be good for use on repro resin projectiles or other homemade driving bands. Its made of real very thin copper and will tarnish over time which i think would give a more realistic look than copper coloured paint.
I got mine from ebay Its not expensive and comes in various widths

This is an excellent idea, you will have to be careful to hide the join though where you cut it from the roll. The best way would be to solder the metal together.

I've been using it for a while. The join is hardly visible, the foil being so thin.
