Curious marking

Hi everyone. A friend has a P59 for 25 pdr with repaint on previous smoke. There are no references to DD/L... or lots. And two markings as shown in the photo SCR and P. Do you have any ideas on how to use them? We hypothesize "Scroll" and "Propaganda"

Do you have a complete picture of the metal box with all the markings?

SCR = `Screening' as it is on a box marked for Smoke and fitted with Fuze No 221. I am uncertain of the meaning of `P' used in isolation in your photo.
