Dating Japanese cases

The picture below is of the marks on a 47mm case. I believe the 'wavy anchor' is the Kure naval acceptance mark but what would the date be>

Yes that anchor variant is Kure Naval Arsenal.

Is there an S stamped near the 1/6 or a Japanese
character 昭 or 昭和?

S would indicate the Showa reign, 1 the first month, and 6 the 6th year of Showa. Therefore January 1931.

There are no other markings on the case. Could the 1/6 be any other date?
