In the Operations Record Book from September 1944 of 438 (RCAF) Squadron is several times mentioned that they dropped 500 lb. bombs wit 24 sec. delay.

I do not know a detonator used in British HE bombs with 24 seconds delay. Annyone anny idea?

What was the delay on the US M106 fuze? It had an actual coil of time fuse inside the fuze body, but I don't remember how long the delay was for. Did the UK ever utilize US fuzing for special purposes?

From A.P.1661 C, Vol.2 (2nd Edn.), Sect. 3 Chap.3
Detonator No. 57 Mk. 2 (Blue and Yellow) delay 25 to 30s but it may be a post war detonator

The Autralian Standard Notes for Armourers 1943 mentions only a Blue detonator of 11s delay

The M106 had a delay of 45s
