Display frame for a few Blanks

I have always had a few small arms rounds knocking about, although not really my thing i have hung on to them in the vain hope that i would find a method of displaying them that meant they did not keep getting knocked over or sat collecting dust. I spotted this frame in a very well known supermarket chain for the bargain price of 4 and had a bit of self adhesive felt laying around. Not too bad for a first attempt, would not try it with anything valuable as i have superglued the cases to the backing.
Rounds are as follows if i can get this right,

5.56mm

.45
9mm
9mm (found about 30 years ago in the street in France)
8mm
2 x unknown starting pistol or Hilti blanks

That's a nice little display there. Even rounds that are nothing much on there own look good when displayed like this.

nice job mate,by any chance is the .45" blank headstamped 66 K L5A3 or something close to that?

Hi Weasel,
they were a Kynoch commercial venture made from 7.62 Nato tracer cases,thought the crimp style looked familiar.

Thank you for the info, I should have looked up the "L" number i tend to forget about cases being modified to make other rounds as seems to happen quite a lot with small arms.

Weren't those blanks made for sale to film studios for use in blank firing Thompsons?
