DM 1399 Landmine

So ... lets continue looking at electronic German Landmines

I am looking for internal information on the DM 1399 German Scatterable Landmine.

I have lots of images of this item (will post some later) and would like to get internal drawings for an EOD publication.

Thanks,

Joe

The only land mine using the SMART (submunition from 155mm) war head which comes to my mind was the "Tarantula" we discussed here before.

Joe,

I can't speak for everyone else, but I'm thinking that you will always get more response to your requests if you post an image with the request. I'm very visual, but don't memorize part numbers for things seldom reviewed. If I recognize the image, I know if I have info or examples.

Disregard the SMART within the name. Someone put that on the tag or description and I was just too slow to see it (and pay attention).

SMART is a completely different system (155-MM porjectile) this is released out of the AT-2 MLRS.

Joe,

The photos I posted are of an MLRS delivered AT-2, I guess DM1399, even though it isn't marked as such.

AT2-84 AT Mine

Have you obtained the imformation you need regarding the AT2-84 mine used in the MLRS rocket as i have a wealth of knowledge on this delivery and functioning of the mine in question. If still needed email Barrowman2002@Yahoo.co.uk.
