Looks like a 25 pounder or 5,5 inch. Very interesting.

separate loading, base is to be able to get it back out of the breach? either a tool goes over it or if big enough you can get your hands in.

the base seems to be made to use an "extractor".
100% british fuze but, I'm not sure but maybe french marking "EXERCICE"

I am quite sure it is a Dutch made 25 Pr, i cant excatly see what teh nomenclature on the fuze is but i think SB Nr 38 excertcitie which translates in fuze point detonating drill. Sorry cant find any pics of it regards erik

I saw also Nr markings and suspected Dutch or Belgian !
Tell me if you find other information.
Is it EXERCITIE or EXCERTCITIE ?
