The E105 was one of a system of grenades (mostly pyrotechnic) that could be functioned by hand throwing, by trip wire or by command firing (electrically using the two terminals of the electric fuze which have red plugs inserted in the picture). The trip wire assembly brought the fragmentation grenade within the Land Mine Convention and H&W stopped making this model. I doubt many were made anyway. The usual Drill and Practice variants were designed.
