Early MKII Practice

Found this at a gunshow last weekend. From what I've found on line,it appears to be an early MKII body and a fuze for the M21.There are remnants of red paint coming through the blue. There also looks like remnants of threads in the bottom hole. It's marked with a square G on one side and the number 34 on the other. What do you think,is it possible the early body could have still been in use when the M205A1 fuze came out?S7300002.jpgS7300003.jpgS7300004.jpgS7300005.jpgS7300006.jpgS7300007.jpg

Hard to say. I don't think it is out of the realm of possibility though.

This is a practice grenade I picked up a couple years ago. MKI body with much later fuse. Hole in bottom is threaded but not plugged. Obviously recycled past its original life span.
