Hi all,
we have heard of the existence of an incendiary Egyptian version (if I'm not wrong, the Egyptian No2 grenade) of the Czech RG-4 grenade.
Is this info correct and, if yes, should it be possible to receive technical data about it ?

Hi Yoda,
the theory of incendiary RG-4 is not new, I have heard it in Eglin EOD School before.
There is a red czech RG-4, but it is an inert grenade with removable top lid used for teaching.
(For training there is the RG-5 Cv)
I have found a photo of the red RG-4 (pics are named No.2) with arabic letters. Unfortunately I do not understand them.
My guess is they were written by arabic students at czech military university.

To my knowlege there were no incendiary RG-4 grenades.

For context, here's an Egyptian RG4 and the Drill version with original markings.

It is a bad image but it names the RG-4 incendiary

Is that reliable? It shows the white drill version as the offensive type. Maybe the red one is the offensive type?

The white is named Def(ensive), the red Inc(cendiary) and the black Off(ensive).
But what I can read, is that the only source of the existence of an incendiary RG-4 is french !

Unclassified pages from an EOD manual on this grenade also calls the white as frag and black as blast, but i find no ref to an incendiary -at least in Egyptian
