Hi folks,
I stumbled across this tool box. See pictures.
The inscription on the type plate translates "Toolbox for defusing of LM"
Unfortunately no more marking visible and not complete. Some tools like wrenches and handles are missing, just their shapes are painted onto the sheet metal.
I am not sure if this can be wartime or more post war EOD equipment. Even the "LM" on the type plate makes me thing what could be meant.
Of course it would be possible to guess that "LM" means LuftMine but it could also be an abbreviation for LuftMunition.
According to what I know about Luftminen and to what former EOD personnel told me the British Luftminen have been defused normally only by using a big pipe wrench and that's it. If I interpret the painted shapes right, there are at least two face wrenches and a wrench for slotted nuts inside. And this is stuff I can't connect to a Luftmine.
Does anybody know this or similar tool sets?

Thanks for reading,
