I have this flare/signal and was told it is from Poland. 52x210mm dimensions.
Cardboard with ring and red cord at top. triangular holes at the other end.
I ask for information about the use, date (appears to be 2002?)

Polish smoke RDG-2 (same in Russia). Hand or rifle (with adapter)

Markings seem to be RGD-2 on your example (could match with designation Reczny Granat Dymny)
