French 37mm (marine?) fuse

Yesterday I saw this ordinary french 37mm "pom pom" at a friends house. Normally I wouldn't even notice it.

Yet it was the fuse I have not seen before. It doesn't look tempered with so I think it's an original. But what type is it?
I've seen a little anchor on it so I assume it's a naval version? Could it be it has a "nose" to protect the wax-lid against
the salt of the sea?

The top bit might have been added later to give the projectile a better
appearance ? There is no reason for a brass top on these and unless the insides
of the fuze are removed , no way to hold it in place. It is French Navy marked
as usual. See if it will come off - if soldered in place definitely added.

I have a souvenir round with a brass tip in my collection as an example of the tribe. It is forced into the original fuse body. I think that is likely what you have.
