can this French 37mm be confirmed as dated 1925, I would have thought it would have had a solid lower drive band ?

Hello,
You have a 37mm model 1924 (modified M1892).
Bands are correct.
Between ww1 and ww2 French changed lower band on 37mm (made without groove) . I don't know why and when this change arrived (shot model 1935 have this new band).
