I have some pictures from the Aberdeen Ordnance Museum ...

It is listed as a French Smoke Rifle Grenade R&D item ... does anyone know anything about this item:

Dia: 59MM
Length: 416MM

Apart from the colour scheme it looks like an American experimental rifle grenade for 50cal to me.

2.36 inches = 59mm (bazooka warhead?)

Grenade M10 family perhaps.

No idea ... the card that accompanied the item said French R&D item and was from the 60's. The warhead is made of aluminum, and the color is apparently right ...

Take all of this with a grain of salt ...
