Hi,does anybody know if these are demolition crimping pliers? These were descibed as such on Ebay,I have a pair the same dated 1917, Arrow,British plier co. Any info much appreciated

Hi,
These are plumbers or gas fitters pliers. They were used from victorian times up to the 40,s /50's. Sorry not demolition pliers.

Yes,sounds right!.my old man has a pair of these in his ancient toolbox and he has never had owt to do with EOD.
He was in the forces years ago though....as a medic!
Maybe he was pulling some poor saps teeth with them!:tinysmile_shutup_t2
