I have very little info on fuze keys, does anyone have any info on this one
thanks
Mick

This key was for removal/insertion of Fuze 255 from 40mm Bofors, 40mm/70 Cal and the 2 pr HE shell for the 2pr Mks 9 and 10A guns.
This fuze had a UK designated fuze hole size of 1.2 inch (30mm).

Of course it will also fit the earlier No. 251 Bofors fuzes. I have one actually marked "For insertion & removal of No. 251 fuze." These fuze keys are common in Australia as a large quantity of unissued NOS items came onto the market a few years ago, along with the No. 143 keys for the large No. 18 Bofors primer.
