I found this protection cap for the fuze no. 199 at the beaches of calais.
Under the layer of sand I saw vague letters of paint. I tried to clean it as much as I can without removing the paint. Now the ''199'' is visible.
I found on the internet this cap is for the british fuze no. 199, used on the 3.7 AA gun.
