Fuze?

Hello,

Today I found this brass 'thing'.
I think it may well be the top part of a fuze.
There was some greenish paint between the two knurled rings, but unfortunately, I lost it during cleaning.
There are no markings on it.
The bottom side looks exploded.

Does anyone recognize this to a specific fuze?
