German Beton charge question

Most references give the standard explosive charge for the Stick beton Type 1 and 2 as the Bohrpatrone 28.
(which is right at 4 inches in length) Some Type 2 sticks DID have a longer head but the Type 1's (like mine) are shorter.
Did the shorter heads just have the Bohr 28 sticking out the top a bit or did it use something else? Thanks.

Half of a Bohrpatrone was used, just enough for the small concrete body. Similarly to the stickless 'Volkshandgranate 45'.

The Volks 45 used a Nipolit charge as well, could that have been possibly used also
in these shorter Betons?
