Hi guys
I was off a while but have some interesting item, to me looks like a booster filled with TNT (what Sulph stands for, is it a mixture with sulphur or a method of TNT production), I know that it is for some projectile.
It detonated duly from detonator No 8, can anyone put some light on this, and what sort of projectile it was a part of ?
Cheers
Henryk

Explosive charge block for German 8,8cm Flak HE-shell type L/4,5.
There was 2 blocks of explosives in the shell, this conical one and a larger cylindrical one. They were packed in shell thru open base and then closed with a plug.
