german_2.jpg german_1.jpggerman_3.jpggerrman_4.jpg Has anyone any idea what this item is? It is in store in a museum in London among a collection of German bomb fuzes. It's been suggested that it's part of an El AZ (49) Fuze - it's about the right size, (sorry, I forgot to show a scale on the photos), but the illustrations I've seen of the (49) show that the end of the Fuze is rounded, whereas this item is stepped (although there could be a piece missing). Also the stud with the nut on (49) Fuze is drilled to accept and electrical cable, whereas the stud on this item isn't drilled.

All suggestions welcome!!
