Here is a German MODEL GR-1 ... is this correct? and does anyone have anything on this?

Dia: 100MM
Length: 341MM

Again ... these are all from the former Aberdeen Ordnance Museum ...

the full name of the Shell was "10 cm Granate C/96" which was introduced for the 10 cm K. 97. Later the Name was shortened to "10 cm Granate". The fuze adapter was there to make it possible to insert a picric acid filled cardboard container. In 1914 it was obsolete since years...

There is still an Aberdeen Museum ... but it is not an Ordnance Museum. The Ordnance Museum has moved to Ft. Lee. .................. Joe
