German ID Plate ??

Any of you knowledgeable members out there have any idea what this small plate is from ? I'm assuming German WW2 but could be anything . Measures 53mm x 37mm . Thanks , Siegfreid.

Anyway a Luftwaffe item. Schloss 500 might indicate that it's from 500 kilos aerial bomb hanging device?
 
Tmine is correct, the plate is from a Schloss 500/XII bomb release unit. Basically the release hook attatched to a 500kg bomb mount. The Fl number is the reference number to the item, anything begining Fl 50 is to do with armaments.
Thats about as much as I can tell you. It would be interesting to find a book with details of all the different bomb mounts, further research may reveal the type of aircraft in which this mount was used.
