I have had this for a long time, I thought now would be a good time to find out what all the markings mean seeing as we have so many German ordnance fans in the Forum. Thanks in advance, Tony.

You have makers mark (Rhs) in the fuze,batch numbers and the AZ83 type fuze itself.
some of the other lads might be able to help you out on that though?

The markings on the fuze are as follows AZ8312* is the fuze designation Impact fuze
RHs over 143 = Rheinmetall Sommerda plant
G =Date of Manufacture of empty fuze
580A is the batch number

Markings on Bomb body are as follows
Bi = the group number H over 344 Filling manufacturers monogram
Large G = Date of filling
There are other marks that telll you the type composition Ie filling
RHs is Rheinmetall
