German WW1 105mm Navy Case

Picked up an example of the case from the German WW1 105mm naval gun, length 655mm and rim 127mm. I think this case was used in a range of naval weapons starting with the C/91 (35 calibres), C/97 (40 calibres) and C/06 & C/11 (45 calibres). The majority of the headstamp is normal, made in 1911 and reloaded twice in 1914. What I have not seen before is the 27MB and the WLC. I except the WLC could be initials of the finder, but they are deeply inscribed rather than scratched. The 27MB does look like a professional addition. Very glad to have your thoughts.
