The shell on the right is for a 37mm Sockelflak cannon. This was a small gun designed to be used for defending zeppelins from attacking aircraft.

The left shell is for the right case and the right shell for left case
Like that you have the driving band at the same hight
Place the groove base shell on groove case and you'll see the round can be firing in standar gun
 
Thanks Doctor, 37mm stuff is still pretty new to me and I am in learning on these shells. I'll get them switched. I was pretty happy happy to find out the one is a balloon buster shell....Dano
