German WW1 HE Colour? ....

Hi all,
Despite having a good rumage around the site, I can't find a thread from a while back which had a couple of First War German 15cm HE's with original paint.
I'm trying to get a colour match for the restoration of my 15cm, or at least an idea of what colour I'm aiming for. 'Feld-Grau' rings a bell?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Cheers!
D

I have just rediscovered something I thought had been lost - a Vallejo colour chart for modellers.

When I made enquiries some years ago about the right shade of grey-green for German Army HE shells in WW2, I managed to discover that it is numbered 70.888 on the Vallejo system, equivalent to RAL 6006. I hope this helps.
