Hi Chaps
Ever wondered what a flare looked like?
Me too well wonder no more.
The only parts missing are propelent and side of the case the flare is made of compressed magnesium powder in a very thin alloy can with black powder starter pellet. Note the very small cavity for the propelant.
This one is a white star shell with part notched rim for id in the dark.
hope you all like it.
ps it was inert before i started (hole in the side of the case now cut out)

Yes nice job, :top: but you should paint the cut surfaces it will look good I think.
 
i thought about it i could paint the case walls but the flare compound is compressed magnesiun powder and if i painted that you would lose the affect i think.
I will give it ago though on the next chop shop sesion though i think.

Yes you are right you should only paint the case walls.
