Here is a really neat WW1 inert German aerial bomb. It is a standard Granatenwerfer 16 round (dated 1917) which has a different fuse and tail boom. It retains it's original paint and black stenciled letter "S" on the tail. The fuse is also marked with an "S".
The identification tag says it's a NO23 Type S. Does anyone know which maker used the "W&S" in a circle? Any additional information would be great. Thanks for looking! Pat
