That is indeed a "negative side note" for Gordon! I forgot about it but I do remember his packaging methods. It is just cruel. You KNOW there should be very nice items in there somewhere, but you just can't reach them fast enough :tinysmile_cry_t3:.

I'm going to have to ~

Start using Epoxy instead of wood glue--- if it can be opened then it's not secure -- :xd:

Gordonian knots

Besides being extremely honest and very knowledgeable, Gordon could have taught the Eygptians how ro wrap mummies!

I'll have to try harder ---

If you guys can get them open then any one can ~

Nothing worse than a box of rounds at the Post Office with their little noses poking through like a new batch of Critters---- :tinysmile_cry_t2:

Or the fellow who listed an old projectile (37mm MKll, it was a "Range Pickup" the very kind of thing that shouldn't be touched), on ebay. It was all rusty, had been fired (negating the safety devices) and the fuze was in it. I contacted him and suggested it was still live. He pulled it. He told me when he got it all he got was an empty box - he called the post office, they checked the truck and found it rolling around loose in the back (must be a small town) they gave it to him. It was safely taken care of and was indeed live. ~~

Thank You Very Much

Just had a great parcel from Gordon, a pleasure to deal with as always and look forward to more. To say well packaged does not do it justice, Best regards Weasel.
