Headstamp Markings on a French(?) 37mm Shell Case?

Hi Folks -

Picked up this 37mm case with some Trench Art on it, and some interesting stamping and ink stamps on it, on eBay.

From what I can read on the ink stamps, it is:
"C.4.16"
"BN 5 FAO5"
"C.1.16.R."

... and something else I can't quite make out.

I do like the Artwork also, simple but well done.

Any help on the ink stamp and the regular stamps into metal appreciated.

Best regards!
- Mike

Thanks Yoda! I am wondering if the ink stamps represent an Field Artillery Unit, possibly the "5th Batallion. Field Artillery Ordnance" and the date??
