Today a rather nice parcel arrived from Germany.

This is a joint venture between myself and waff.

contained within are six Elaz 17A fuses and 2 Dischargers.

six of the fuses are in very nice condition with some ink stamps remaining
on the bottom of the clock cases, and a fair bit of original paint.

Hi Phil,

Very nice collection of 17's you have there, well done mate!!

What were the dischargers used for? (was these used by armourers on returning aircraft with bombs, or by bomb disposal teams in Germany)

whatever very nice pieces, are they rare?

Thanks Kev

There was six fuses plus a crusty one for free  again a 17

which i shall post next as i can only upload 5 images:tinysmile_cry_t4:

The Dischargers were the German armourers tool for rendering fuses safe
that i could only guess at (from Hung up bombs perhaps)
