I have just acquired these two German 20mm rounds.
The one on the left has a ZZ 1505A fuse , which I know means self destruct, and has the dark green stripe at the top. The colour of the projectile is half yellow and half orange. There are traces of red around the primer. I am told that it is a thin walled tracer. Is this correct? If so, what is a thin walled tracer?!!
The one on the right has a AZ 1528A fuse with a red projectile. Again I am led to believe that it would be filled with phosophorus - is this also correct? I've never seen this colour before.
Thanks in advance for your help!
Roger
