Help Identify 1937 37mm French AP projectile

I have never seen a date on this type of French 37mm AP projectile before. Hoping there is a French expert who might help, I have so many questions!

Is it an "mle 1916" that was produced in 1937?
Is "mle 1916" the correct terminology?
Were all the 37mm "mle1916" produced during the 1930's dated?
How many of these did France produce in the 1930s leading up to WW2?

Yes 37mm model 1916 ("boulet ogival modèle 1916")
Very very common in France (and used by other countries), easy for collectors (small and inert).
I assume 1937 is the date of production.
No information on the quantities manufactured
