Help identify a 20mm case

Hello All

I have had this case for some time, every so often I pick it up have a good look on it and put it back in its junk drawer.

I originally thought it was a cut down 20mm MGFF but the head has a different profile than all of the other MGFF’s in my collection.

The case has been shortened and the inside has been bored leaving a wall thickness a lot thinner than the case would have been but about the right thickness for crimping.

There is a small hole in the case near the neck, it shows signs of corrosion and looks like it might have been for mounting to a display board.

As always any and all help greatfully appreciated.

Regards

Hello.
It looks like a 3cm German one. But you're missing some information.
